Technical Writer

AVT Europe NV is looking for a Technical Writer to join our team. In collaboration with your colleagues you are responsible for the layout of the technical files that are delivered with each machine.

You will join a strong technical and young team within an innovative and growing SME under the strong international VINCI group, where everyone knows each other and where we work as one team towards the same goal. What do you do as a Technical Writer?

• 

  You will be responsible for preparing the technical file for each machine.

• You work in a project environment and are in close contact with the engineering departments and project managers. Based on this you make your own planning, learn to understand the machines and gather the necessary information.
• You write logical and structured manuals that translate the operation of a machine towards the end customers.
• You pay attention to automation and the development of new working tools that can contribute to the optimization of the drafting of manuals.

What talent do we require?

• You have a minimum of a Bachelor’s degree in a technical field or you have graduated in a creative field and have a strong interest in technology!
• You are skilled in Microsoft Office and Adobe Acrobat tools.
• You have a fluent oral and written knowledge of Dutch and English.
• You can understand our internal and external customers and write comprehensible documentation.
• Your good communication skills enable you to gather the necessary information independently.
• You are proactive and work in a precise and structured way.
